Pocket Gardener (listed on the App Store as "Pocket Gardener - Journal") ("App") is operated by Talent Bottle, Inc. ("Company," "we," "our," or "us").
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the App.
By using the App, you consent to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the App.

Private content remains private unless you explicitly share it.
When you upload seed packet photos, those images are stored securely and sent to third-party AI services for text extraction (OCR) and data enrichment. This processing extracts plant type, variety, brand, and growing instructions from your photos. See Section 3 for details on third-party services.

We do not sell personal data. We do not use advertising identifiers (IDFA) or participate in cross-app tracking.
With your permission, we may send push notifications via Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM). You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings. We store device tokens solely for notification delivery.
The App stores data locally on your device for offline access and performance. This includes cached garden data and preferences. Local data is removed when you delete the App.
Payments are handled exclusively by Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We receive subscription status and transaction identifiers but do not store payment credentials, credit card numbers, or billing addresses.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use sensitive personal information for purposes beyond what is necessary to provide the App.

The App does not track users across third-party apps or websites. We do not use Apple's IDFA or request App Tracking Transparency permission. We honor "Do Not Track" browser signals where applicable.
We retain data while your account remains active. Specifically:
Upon account deletion, personal data — including garden data, photos, and journal entries — is permanently deleted within 30 days. Anonymized, aggregate analytics may be retained.
You may delete your account at any time from within the App under Menu > Legal > Delete Account. Account deletion permanently removes all personal data, garden data, photos, and journal entries. This action cannot be undone.
You may also request account deletion by emailing nirav.patel@talentbottle.com. We will process your request within 30 days.
Data may be processed in the United States. If you are located outside the United States, your data will be transferred to and processed in the United States where our servers and third-party service providers are located. By using the App, you consent to this transfer. We rely on standard contractual clauses and other appropriate safeguards where required by applicable law.

No system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify affected users and relevant authorities as required by applicable law.

Automated insights are informational only, are not professional agricultural advice, and may contain inaccuracies. Your photos and garden data may be sent to third-party AI providers (see Section 3) for processing. We do not use your data to train AI models.
The App is not intended for children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under these ages. If we learn that we have collected data from a child under the applicable age, we will delete it promptly. We may update this policy periodically. We will notify you of material changes through the App or by email. The "Effective Date" at the top of this page will be updated accordingly. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
